AppConnector

AppConnector connects business applications to the platforms they run on.

AppConnector is an integration service. It links the business application you use to your accounts on other platforms — handling the authorisation, keeping records in sync, and delivering events between them on your behalf.

When you connect a Google account, AppConnector requests only the Google Calendar and Google Sheets permissions needed for the features you switch on: checking your availability and managing the meetings you book, and reading or appending rows in spreadsheets you select.

What you can do with it

The features AppConnector makes possible in the application you are using.

  • Book meetings

Offer times you are genuinely free, let people choose one, and have the meeting written to your calendar with a video link attached.

  • Capture enquiries

Collect the enquiries people submit through your ads and forms, and receive them as they arrive rather than exporting them later.

  • Keep records in step

Send new and updated records into the spreadsheets and systems you already work in, and report results back to where they came from.

What it connects

Every connection is opt-in. AppConnector asks only for the permissions the feature you switched on actually needs, and uses that data solely to run it.

  • Google

    • Calendar Checks when you are free so only open times are offered, then creates, updates or cancels the meetings that get booked, and adds a Google Meet link to each one.
    • Sheets Reads from and appends rows to the particular spreadsheets you select.
  • Meta

    • Pages and lead forms Collects the enquiries people submit, as they arrive.
    • Ad accounts and datasets Reports outcomes back, so reporting reflects what happened after the click.
  • Data APIs

    • Lookup and enrichment Programmatic access to business data services for applications that need to find or enrich company and contact records.
    • Delivery endpoints Passes results to the systems an application nominates.

Access to Google Calendar and Google Sheets is limited to the scopes each feature needs, and that data is never used for advertising and never sold. Our Privacy Policy states this in full, including our compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy and the Limited Use requirements.

How it is used

AppConnector is not a standalone product you sign up for. It operates as a service component on behalf of the applications that integrate it, under the instructions of those applications and the people who use them.

If you have arrived here from a consent screen, a notification email or an integration setting, the application you were using relies on AppConnector for that connection. Our Privacy Policy explains what is processed and why, including how we meet the Google API Services User Data Policy, and you can withdraw any connection at any time from that provider’s own settings.

Questions about an integration, or a privacy request — use the contact form and we will respond by email.
